A Rare William Smithfield Butcher's Knife Sharpener
Rare antique Williams of Smithfield (1765-1923) butcher’s sharpener / pipe steel with a rosewood handle and the churchwarden’s pipe trademark. It is usable but in fair condition and would benefit from restoration. This is a good opportunity to purchase one of these iconic pipe steels for a bargain price.
