1940s Lord & Taylor Jacket
A 1940s Lord & Taylor jacket. It is double-breasted, with a fitted shape created by six waist darts in the front and two in the back. The pockets have beautiful detailing, and the large decorative buttons are a feature.
Lord & Taylor was an iconic luxury department store, now closed, that began as a women’s clothing store in Lower Manhattan in 1826.
